YALT! stands for "You Actually Live Twice!"
Do not be deceived. The rulers of this world want you to believe you only live once. People will do incredibly destructive things when they believe this lie. The truth is we actually all live twice. We each experience this physical life and after death we live forever.
We are not an accident! Our physical world testifies to design. We are all created with purpose and immense value and what we do in the first life determines how we will experience eternity. God has revealed this to us through His Word.
John 3:16 KJV "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

We will all live forever after death and we will spend eternity either with our creator or apart from Him. If we choose to reject or deny God in this life we will not spend eternity with Him. The Bible calls an eternity apart from God hell. It is not a nice place!
First we need to believe that God is real. We then need to acknowledge that we are all sinners and are in need of a savior. Next we need to accept that God has made a way for us to repent and be forgiven of our sins through the work of His son Jesus. Salvation and eternity with God is a free gift, we just need to accept it.
Pray to God. He loves when people reach out to Him. Confess, repent, and abide in Him. Once you put your faith and trust in Jesus you are part of His church. Read His word. Find a group of other believers in your area to meet with. God has a purpose for each of us. Find out what it is and store up for yourselves treasures in heaven!
